06-07   Sep   2025

Highlights

We would like to announce to all participants that the symposium proceedings have been published in IEEE Xplore. You can access the studies from this link.

IDAP started in 2016 and has been held annually, except for one year when the global pandemic occurred. The highlights of the conference, which we will organize for the 8th time this year, are as follows:

  • IDAP 25 Keynote  presentation by Özgür Umut VURGUN, HAVELSAN,     Biography: In 2006, he graduated from Near East University, Department of Computer Engineering, and received his master's degree from Bahçeşehir University, Master of Business Administration (MBA), and Üsküdar University, Department of Artificial Intelligence Engineering. In his professional life, he has worked at Türk Telekom, Turkcell, and companies abroad. His areas of expertise are data management, big data, data analytics, and artificial intelligence, and he has worked on many projects in the fields of energy, telecom, and the defense industry.  He is currently working as Open-Source Transformation Group Manager at Havelsan A.Ş. and continues to work on artificial intelligence and data analytics.
  • The symposium will be held online.
  • The acceptance rate will be kept at about 70%.
  • Publications submitted to IDAP'25 will undergo a double-blind peer review process. Papers will be evaluated by two independent reviewers, and acceptance/rejection decisions will be based on the reviewers' scores, with the highest-scoring papers being accepted first
  • Papers must be a minimum of 4 pages and written in English or in Turkish. The papers in Turkish must also include the title, abstract, and keywords in English.
  • All papers accepted and presented to the congress will be published in the IEEE Xplore database.
  • The IDAP'25 Symposium fulfills the 2024 ÜAK Engineering Basic Field 8.b requirement. Additionally, an application for 8.a (CPCI) will be submitted at the conclusion of the symposium.
  • To be considered for publication, the similarity rate of submissions must not exceed 35% including references and 25% excluding references. Studies that do not meet this threshold will be immediately rejected.
  • IDAP does not accept submissions generated entirely or primarily using AI. Therefore, similarity checks will be conducted at the paragraph or section level, rather than sentence by sentence. Submissions with a high AI content will not be accepted.
